After the World War II in Japan, agricultural technology was mainly developed for mass production. The result has been a massive increase in agricultural productivity. These gains have not been achieved without putting great pressure on the environment. Recently Japanese government has started to adjust to the new reality. We consider the effects of rotating Chinese Milk Vetch in Paddy farming which is thought as one way of ecological farming methods. Therefore the purpose of this paper is to study the realities of rotating Chinese Milk Vetch in Paddy farming and these effects at Tawarada of Yachiyo town in Hyogo prefecture. We identified six effects on this farming method in that local area. First, it has an effect on cost reduction because mainly they can decrease the amount of chemical fertilizer. Second, it has an effect on increased productivity. The seventy-five percentages of farmers which produce a variety of 'Yamadanisiki' admit this reality. Third, it has an effect on labor saving. The working hour is reduced for two hours and thirty minutes per 10a. Fourth, it has an effect on better landscape. Fifth, it has an effect on attracting honey bean and for surrounding farmers produce high quality honey due to increasing cultivation of milk vetch. Sixth, it has an effect of making attractive. All of farmers in Tawarada have created ecological sustainable agriculture which make much account of how to make good soil and make themselves fun. The farming systems in Tawarada can be considered to one good example of Japanese sustainable agriculture.
