抄録	本研究は、基礎看護学実習Iの実習日誌として学生に課したリフレクティブジャーナル(以下、RJ)の内容を分析・検討し、RJにおけるリフレクションに必須なスキル(以下、リフレクティブなスキル)の活用の有無を明らかにするとともに、RJがリフレクティブなスキルの修得に効果があるかどうか検討することを目的とした。実習期間中に毎日提出された58名のRJにおいて、リフレクションの必須スキルと考えられている「自己への気付き」のスキルおよび「記述・描写」のスキルが活用されているかどうかについて、各々の定義をもとに詳細に分析・検討を行った。その結果、「記述・描写」のスキルの活用が、5日間のRJのうち少なくとも1日分のRJにおいてみられた学生は全員であったが、「自己への気付き」のスキルを活用のそれについては15.5%であった。以上のことから、実習日誌としてのRJはリフレクティブなスキルのうち「記述・描写」のスキルの活用・修得を促し、なおかつ「自己への気付き」のスキルの活用・修得を促進する1つの方法になり得ることが示唆された。したがって、実践的思考能力に必要不可欠であると考えられているリフレクティブなスキルの修得のために、基礎看護学実習1においてRJを導入することは意義あるものと考えられた。
抄録	The purposes of this study were clarifying how students actually used necessary skills when writing a reflective journal and whether writing of a reflective journal was effective to learning reflective skills, as evident in reflective journals. The contents of reflective journals, that student were required to write as a basic-nursing clinical-training diary, were analyzed. We obtained reflective journals of 58 students, who submitted a diary every day during a five-day training period. Analysis on the reflective journals was performed for the use of the following two necessary reflective skills : 'self awareness' and 'description'. As a result, all students used the skill 'description' at least in one day s reflective journal. However, the skill 'self awareness' was used by 15.5% of the students. From the results it was concluded that the reflective journal as a clinical training diary promoted the learning of practical use of the skill 'description'. The results also suggested that reflective journals might become one learning-teaching method of promoting of the skill 'self awareness'. In conclusion, introduction of writing reflective journals into basic nursing clinical-training may be meaningful for the acquirement of reflective skills, which is thought of as indispensable to clinical thinking abilities.
