抄録	作業療法の核である作業活動を治療手段として使いこなす自信がないという学生たちが増加している。また、医療現場も変化が著しく、そのような医療現場の変革が学生の臨床実習にも大きく影響しているのであれば、教育内容もそれにあわせて早急に変えていく必要がある。そこで過去6年間を前半と後半3年ずつに分け、臨床実習中の作業活動内容を比べ、変化をみた。対象は神戸大学の学生で、平成7年から13年までに精神・身体障害分野で臨床実習を行ったもののべ215人(男性34名、女性181名)であった。調査は、臨床実習終了直後に、臨床実習中に使った作業活動名すべて記入させる方法で行った。作業活動は、作業療法白書1995に準じて6群に分類し、前半3年と後半3年の使用された活動数をマン・ホイットニ検定を用いて比較した。身体障害分野では手工芸類と趣味的レク的活動の2群について前半に比べ後半が有意に減少していた。精神科分野ではどの群にも変化は見られなかった。減少の原因として、医療情勢の変化、患者の重度化、学生の能力の低下などが考えられる。
抄録	Activity has been a central concept in occupational therapy. But student-therapists who lack confidence in using treatment-based activities have been increasing. To suggest ways of bringing our education and practice up to speed, I conducted the following research. To examine activities for clinical practice used by Kobe University OT students, 215 subjects were profiled : 181 women, 34 men. Of these 215, 115 were in the field of mental health ; the others (100) studied physical disability. Based upon questionnaires completed by these students, basic OT activities were classified into six categories : (1) basic movement and exercise ; (2) handicrafts ; (3) productive-vocational ; (4) practical use of ADL ; (5) leisure ; and (6) mental exercise. We compared the 1995-1998 figures with those of 1999-2001. The six categories were examined for these two time periods using the Mann-Whitney Test for Independence. Student-therapists in physical disability used handicraft and leisure activities less during 1999-2001 than student-therapists during1995-1998. In the mental health field, the number for activities used had stayed the same. Activity decrease for physical-disability students can be attributed to government cuts in medical expenditures, a rise in the number of seriously disabled patients, and recent student-therapists having little skill for making things.
