This paper examines the implications of machine learning results for human learning and presents three perspectives (foreign language proficiency, effort and hard work, and forgetting) that highlight the differences between machine learning and human learning. The discussion aims to identify dissimilarities that cannot be directly transferred between humans and AI and draw reasonable implications. The paper emphasizes that humans are capable of learning from AI's learning and provides a synopsis of the issues.
