This study explores junior high school students' English learning experiences and reflections over three years. By analyzing individual reflections, the research highlights how learners' beliefs and individuality evolve over time, shaping their perceptions of learning. The findings highlight the intrinsic connection between reflection and temporality, enabling students to explore personally meaningful themes rather than being confined to fixed time frames. The study underscores the value of personalized reflection in enhancing language learning outcomes.
