抄録	We investigated the influences of skin impedance on the amplitude of surface electromyogram. The subjects were five healthy volunteers. We measured the surface electromyogram from the rectus femoris during isometric contraction. The surface electromyogram and the knee extension force were fed into a personal computer. The integrated electromyogram (IEMG) was calculated by the rectification and low-pass filtering of the surface electromyogram. The relations between muscle force and IEMG depended on the skin impedance. But in case the skin impedance was less than 30 kΩ, the relation between muscle force and IEMG showed almost the same slope.
