The 55th Yosakoi Matsuri in 2008 of Kochi city, Japan, was attended by 192 dancing teams and about 19,000 performers. This year, I got on board a Jikata-sha(the lead coach － a fully decorated festival float － with accompanist and public address system) of ‘Kamimachi Yosakoi Narukoren’ team which is my third on-boarding experience. While, it is the second time when I got on Jikata-sha belonging to the same team as mentioned above. Yosakoi Maturi is made up of various town associations and the shopping districts. So in this paper I report about the evolution of ‘Yosakoi Naruko Dance’ based on the town association and the shopping district teams.
